Huricanne Dean & Cancun
I'm scheduled to go to Cancun  on Thursday. Hurricane Dean will be right on top of it on Tuesday at level 5
Should i change my trip? if so, where do i go? The carribean was hit very hard by this strom. Our orginal plan was to go to Aruba which they felt the strom but not like st lucia, etc...
on a side note, i waited 2.5 years (since honeymoon) to take a real trip and stupid storm is ruining it before i step foot on the plane...

what about going to cabo san lucus?
we went for our honeymoon and it was awesome
it's the baja pennisula- so its pretty much hurrican free
check out the RIU Palace (all inclusive down to water bottle in your room- they give you everyday)

if you do a search on here- a bunch of us have gone and loved it
I honestly like it much better then cancun- it was more upscale - but still had the charm as mexico- and still very reasonable priced
the expensive season is when we went- (winter/chrstimas) and we still didn't pay that much for 10 days

Another RIU lover  We stayed there and LOVED the staff, food, and will always do all inclusive now. Good luck and enjoy your trip!! Sorry about Mean Dean

I would either go to the west coast of Mexico or Aruba.

i would try to switch. two years ago a hurricane hit where my bil and his wife and my best friend and here husband were all planning on honeymooning, it was in cancun. sometimes the places stay open even with damage. so you only get like 70% of what they offer. one couple went to jamaica instead and the other still went to cancun and they had a great time, but expected more....

Aruba is always a safe bet- It hardly is affcted seriously by an major storms or hurricanes
