Now I know why DH won't let me build anything
I've been a bit bummed as I know so much baby stuff needs to be built as DH is busy painting and cleaning our new place before we move in. So tonight while he was at work, I decided to attempt the nightstand for the baby's room.
Did I mention that I haven't felt 3 fingers in my right hand since about week 22? I always drop things because I don't feel them. Did I also mention that I was using a power drill? 
Needless to say, I dropped the drill, it went right into my leg and then scraped all the way down my leg until it hit the floor. 
My first thought as blood is dripping out of my leg 'Oh geez, DH is going to kill me'

o m g - r u okay? i can't chastise u b/c i'd do the same thing - u need something done, do it yourself...but this motto has to wait till after the baby comes, he's the most important aspect right now!

Oh my goodness! So glad you are OK!
I am the same way... except with knives and it has NOTHING to do with being pregnant.
Last time I cut my finger I needed to tape a paper towel around my finger to stop the bleeding and I went to find DH with my arm above my head saying "Babe do you know where the electrical tape is?" All innocent like!
I give him credit for not saying "I told you so"!!!

oh no!!! I hope you are okay!! Better leave the projects involving power tools to your dh, at least for right now

This is a definite Kelly story, but not of the variety . . . more of the    variety.
I sincerely hope that you are OK and didn't do too much damage.

DH was not too pleased when he got home and saw my leg. Oh well!!! I said I wanted to finish the nightstand. He was not too pleased and said HE was going to put it together.

I agree, that's usually my motto too, dh can't move his rear end fast enough to get things done. Thank god you are ok!!!!!
Seriously, I know it's hard to not do all the things that you would usually do or like to do but just say no to yourself
