I Failed
I am so bummed. I have to go for the three hour GD test on Thursday. I failed by a lot too. I got a 163 and they said 130 and below is passing. Did anyone fail the one hour with higher than 160 and pass the 3 hour?? Is there hope? I am soo sad about this.

I think there is hope b/c sometimes the results of the one hour can be a total fluke.

Many women here failed the 1 hour and passed the 3 hour! I was not one of them though!
It is interesting to learn though why you fail. It all has to do with the placenta. Do, don't think it is all about what you did or didn't do. My placentas play tricks on me daily! I have learned that the babies are in control and there are very few things that I can do! (of course watch the sugars and the carbs)

A lot of girls here failed the 1 hr and passed the 3 hr.

dont worry, if you dont pass the 3 hour many of us on here failed the 3 hour and had to go through either a monitored diet or like myself had to give myself injections 2x of insulin. We are here for you!

I htink my number for the 1 hour was in the 180's...and I passed the 3 hour.

it seems like quite a few of us failed the 1 hour...
Dont worry, the 3 hour is not so bad, just bring a book or magazines to keep you occupied while you wait. I'm sure you'll pass it!

Dont worry...
I failed the one hour MISERABLY!!!!
And passed the 3 hour...
If you looked at my test (3hour) I:
Passed the fasting
Failed the 1hour
Passed the 2 hour
Passed the 3 hour
So I passed the 3 hour...so although you still might fail the one hour portion of the test your blood sugar level gets back to normal quickly there after and you get a passing grade!!!!

Thank you all so much. I have hope. Feel better about it today. I drowned my sorrows shopping for baby clothes yesterday. I go tomorrow for the three hour and since getting the news yesterday I have been watching what I am eating like crazy, reading labels, trying to keep the sugar down. Thanks!!
