Should I be concerned about this??? UPDATE

We ordered our furniture from Behr's. The rest of the furniture came in two or more weeks ago except the crib. When I call, they tell me there is no ETA on the crib and to wait it out.

I'm getting a little nervous and anxious to start putting things away and so on so should I be concerned? She told me she would call the manufacturer but never got back to me. When we originally signed the paperwork, it was supposed to arrive by August....

I think I'm just nervous about everything these past few days Chat Icon

UPDATE 8/14

They will make a separate delivery, free of charge, for the dressers, that's the good news. The bad news though is that the crib won't be ready until the second or third week in September-that's WAY too close. They said they were waiting for parts. I think someone should have called, no? Chat Icon

Re: Should I be concerned about this???

Well, the good news is you said the paperwork said it would be in by August and it is still August! WHEW!!!

I would be a bit annoyed that the woman never called you back. In my world, that makes me keep calling her to bug her until I get an answer.

I am sure it will be fine and you will have it in time... although I do understand just wanting to have it to get everything ready!

Like I said, I would call the lady back and press her a bit harder for a better answer than "no ETA".

Re: Should I be concerned about this???

I ordered from Behrs as well, and I had the same situation! We had all pieces except the dresser (including beds for my boys room) and it took 3 or more weeks for the order to be complete. We did get all the furniture and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! I hope that helps
ps..if you call and ask them to call the company, they can get an ETA for you Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Should I be concerned about this???

We ordered from Behr's as well. All of our furniture came in last month and they are holding it for us until early Oct.

They did, however, tell us that delivery in August can be a problem b/c a lot of the furniture plants shut down for the entire month.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, once everything comes in they can arrange delivery within a few days.

This happened to us - we told them we wanted our furniture end of may - when we ordered ours in January.

We called the end of may since we were moving and hadn't heard anything (we were told 3-4 month for the furniture to come in). They said the dresser had come in 2 weeks earlier but the crib would be 2-4 more weeks - The crib arrived a few days later - but the conversion kit only came in last week (but you won't need that for a very long time so that was okay).
