Swimsuit rant
Okay, you know how when you buy a bra, which only you and maybe one other person ever see you in, you buy in chest size and cup size, and some manufacturers even make half-sizes, like 34 B-and-a-half?
And then you go shopping for a swimsuit, to buy something that will be seen by hundreds of people and perhaps even memorialized in honeymoon photos etc... and all you get are S, M, and L? And the S and M sizes are for 110-pound waifs with 32 AA chests, and me with my 34 D's, I'm popping out of the L in a way that is so obscene I look like I'm on Baywatch, but the XL has straps that are so humongous it wouldn't stay on me at all?
WHY don't they make bikini tops in bra sizes? (I know Victoria's Secret does but the one in the mall doesn't carry swimsuits and I need one for a trip on Wednesday). And WHY do you not have an option for underwire? I realize that not everyone likes or needs underwire, but it would be a nice option for a gal like me so I'm not all flopping around all over the place when I go to adjust my towel.

Re: Swimsuit rant
LOL! I totally agree. I'm one of those people that has to buy bikini seperates/ I'm smaller on the bottom and bigger on top. I hate bathing suit shopping for the same reason. If you buy an XL top it has to tie around the neck and around the back. If not the straps are falling off and the top won't hold you. Try great Shapes in Roslyn or Merrick. I bought a seperate that runs in bra size there once, and it has underwire!! I feel your pain!

Great Shapes is awesome...but expensive. Sometimes they run coupons. I won't buy bathing suits anywhere else, the ladies there always help me get the right fit...little embarrassing but worth it.

yes, i was just going to post this. VS sells bathing suit tops in bra sizes. SO much easier to figure out what size to get. but, on the downside, they are only sold online.
