I just had a car accident!
EVERYONE IS OK!
but it is sooooooooooooooooooooooo nuts!
I was heading northbound on a road and had a left turn signal. I made the left and turned in the left lane (like u are supposed to) the ELDERLY (but really nice) lady came on that same road but south bound and was making a right. Now when the left turn signal is on the opposite traffic has red ( i am fam. with the area) the sign is no turn on red if there are ped. pres. well she made the right....(fine) BUT she drove over three lanes directly into me!
I have a big truck and she had a small car. The front/side pass bumper scraped her entire driver side door!
But here is the kicker she kept going!
I followed her honked brighted her NOTHING
She pulled in front of her house and got out to put her groceries away I was on the phone with 911
I asked her if she was ok she said yes I was like "you hit me" she thought "she ran over something"
THe officer arrived and was like she didnt know she hit u??
Her car was wrecked!
Ugh
NOw I have to go to the claim adjuster I shouldt have to pay for anything.....she did even know she hit me....she told the officer that too! I get the report in two days....I also have to go to the adjuster!
I feel my neck stiffing....I am sure it is now from stress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
The sad thing is I couldnt even get mad she was such a nice elderly woman she reminded me of my grandma....she kept saying I am so sorry to delay you in your day....she was really cute! But I wanna be mad! I just cant

i'm glad no one was seriously hurt!
i think you should go to the doctor tomorrow if you're neck is still hurting. dont let too much time elapse between the accident and your doctors visit.

I'm glad everyone is okay!
On a cynical note: just another reason to support my views about elderly people driving! Mandatory eye exams and physicals every year after 60 --> that's the way to go!

I had something similar happen to me. An elderly woman hit me in a parking lot. I was not moving and I even honked at her when I saw her car getting close to mine but she was clueless. She hit me and when I got out of the car, she looked so puzzled. She had no idea that she hit me!
Definitely go to the doctor if your neck doesn't get better.

I totally agree. Some people should not be driving.

My neck is fine today. I think I was just shocked and def tense!
I went to the adjuster 1100 worth of damage...Not bad but it is just annoyin now to get it fixed
The older lady kept saying she needed a new car!

Wow! I am glad that you are ok! If she doesn't know that hse hit you, she should not be driving! It isn't safe for her or other people on the road if she is that oblivious! I feel bad for her too, but safety is the most important thing!
