My Glider Drama Continues...
So Tuesday I posted how my Shermag glider from Target was delivered but it was broken. They were great about having it picked up (the next day) and delivering a new one (today). My mom opened the box and this one was broken not in one place but two!!! Maybe I am just not meant to have this glider!!!
I called Customer Service and they seem to think that it has to to with the shipment they received so they are sending me a gift card (the glider was a gift from my parents for our anniversary) and she recommended not to order the glider again for a few weeks so that I will get one from another shipment.

I am soooo sorry to hear that you are having these issues!
That's just crazy because I just ordered mine from Target, got it a few days later and there were no broken parts.
Just think how much you will appreciate it once you have a working one! I can totally understand how frustrating this can be. At least Target is working with you and not giving you a hard time.

Oh I am so sorry. I just ordered mine on the 6th and it came yesterday and was fine. Hopefully they get it right this time.

I wonder if because I live on Staten Island ours are coming from a different warehouse? I had even mentioned to the CS rep that I know of others (meaning you LIF ladies) who got their gliders and had no problems.

I live in NJ, so not sure if that would have anything to do with it. Maybe you Staten Islanders have a "special" warehouse that things get shipped from!!!!!

I didn't even realize you were from Jersey (I just looked at your LIF name and said "DUH!" lol I was thinking that you were both on Long Island.
My dh is going to have a fit when he gets home today. I'm going to try again in September and then if it happens again we'll be choosing a new glider.

I'm sorry to hear you're having this problem. It really annoys me when you try to do something that should be pretty simple, and it winds up being a headache.
I hope you get an undamaged glider soon!
