Whenever I think the home prices on LI are crazy..
I watch a show about real estate in CA and think... thank goodness we don't live there!
A 2bedroom, 1ba, 1000 sq ft house.... 1.4 million!!!

I know. It's nuts out there in some areas. There was some show on this weekend, I think it was Flip this House, and the home was a 2-bedroom for 935,000. And it sold, fairly quickly! It was nicely redone, but still small for a house, and it had very little yard.

And in one quick sweep - the house can fall in the water, or split in half. My parents just got back from CA and are very happy they don't have RE out there.
