What is the market like in 2 years?

hello!!

any REA here?

just wonder what the market will be in about 2 years. we've been living in our co-op for the last year and looking to buy in about 1.5-2 years.

any insights/guess?

it will either be really bad or on the way back up- so really- who knows!

well, cnbc, the ueber boring financial channel, was saying that the housing market will bottom out sometime in 2008, and will begin to recover in about 2009.... and the mortgage industry is on a steady decline through 2009, when the bottom is expected to drop out, with increasing #'s of bankrupcies and loan defaults occurring through then...

but then again, those guys frequently are blowing hot air... and could contradict themselves 3 weeks later, with absolutely no mention of their prior ideas...

I agree..... who ever knows would be VERY rich if they had those powers!
