How silly am I
I bought a new toilet seat and I'm afraid to try to install it. I think I'll pull the old one off and not be able to put the new one on..
it's not that hard is it?

It's two screws, and the nuts are usually plastic wing nuts. Just undo the old wingnuts, pull the seat up, wipe the toilet (no matter how much you clean, there's still stuff that gets under the posts), put the new bolts in, then hand-tighten the new nuts.

OMG, I say that to my students all the time, and they laugh at me. I never hear anyone say that (cue cheesy smile)
Toilet seats truly are easy. I cant do a darn thing repair-wise and I did that!!
