Dr. Elisa Singer

Has anyone used her? I just started to go to her, but I was wondering how she works with OB patients. She is in the practice alone with only an NP right??

I use Dr. Singer. My only complaint is that most of my OB appts have been really quick. The nurse will weigh you, check your urine, give you vitamins and then you wait in the room for Dr. Singer who eventually comes in for 2 mins, checks the heartbeat with the doppler and send you on your way. In her defense, I usually don't have any complaints or questions but sometimes it feels a bit impersonal.

I have called with questions/concerns a few times and she always get back to me right away, so she is good about that.

I had a great experience with her!!! Dr Seigel is also in her office, although sometimes he works out of the office in commack. I think another dr just joined the practice also.
She has also been great helping me handle some problems that I am now having...I am seeing her tomorrow for LEEP surgery.

I had a great experience with her when she was in another practice. She was the one that I was hoping would deliver my children but she wasn't on call during that time.

She was very good about reassuring me about concerns, etc. She is short & to the point. She doesn't sugar coat a lot of things, which for me worked well. Some people find her manner too abrupt.


The best way to describe my experience is that she talks like an older sister who happens to be an ob/gyn.
