we put our inside mount roman shades up and they're a tad small =(

our window is 34.5 inches, and we got the PB roman shades 32X64---

the bottm is okay b/c we planned to keep them up all the time, but the sides are a little short...

i'm trying to decide if we should just get the outside mount ones (36X64).


customizing is too $$$

LOVE the fabric but agree that they are too small. go for the outside mount or have the outside mounts cut to size (elsewhere from where you purchased).

I agree, they're nice but the reason to get a shade like that is for darkness and privacy, both of which would be lacking.

I don't think it's too easy to cut roman shades down... but then again, I've never had to do it personally. It can't hurt to find out if someone can do it, though.....

you might want to look at JC penny. i ordered customized roman shades from there when they had their 60% off, which is pretty often

we have the same problem and an easy fix, look at our bedroom windows. the shade is wider than the glass so it blocks the light and the curtain covers the sides of the shade........



you would have never known the shade was smaller than the window frame if I hadn't told you and all you see is shade from the outside.
