I've seen DD before. On the nest, and even on one of DH's mustang forums they refer to wives and kids as DW and DS or DD.

A lot of parenting boards use DD, DS, DC- I know babycenter.com and gothambaby do.

pretty much every message board I've seen uses "DD/DS" abbreviations.

I don't know about DD, but on allrecipes.com they use DH and I was shocked when I read it!
