Update on me
So unfortunately, after all that, 150 mg of Clomid didn't work either. I had a few follies but none much bigger than 10mm. So I'm back on Provera starting Wednesday.
I am so disappointed and I feel really defective, like why can't I even just grow eggs with all these drugs? I'm having a real pity party right now.
Anyway, they did a glucose test this morning so based on those results we will either try a Metformin/Clomid combo next month or just go straight to injectables if he doesn't think the Metformin will help.
Good luck to all.

Re: Update on me
I wish you better luck with the combo. I have to tell you, after surviving 8 months of Clomid Hell, I understand your disappointment. I had countless (I stopped counting!) sonos when I heard the dreaded, "many less than ten." I hope you have better luck than I did. I know so many people who have luck with Clomid/Metformin! And if you have to go to injectibles, you might have better luck and get tons of follicles that are over 10mm.
Stay strong!

Re: Update on me
I am almost in the same boat... I go for ANOTHER sono today to check follicle growth, but I am not confident I will get good news.
I took 100mgs this month...and will try one more at 150mgs before asking about other options
It is SO frustrating and my ins is charging me 18copay per visit and 18 per sono.....UGH its adding up QUICK @ 36 a pop.

I'm so sorry! Clomid alone for me didn't work, and although my glucose/insulin levels were normal (but borderline normal), my Dr. put me on the Met, and I believe it was the combo this month of the Met and Clomid that worked.

Re: Update on me
There are a lot of studies on the effectiveness of met/clomid tyogether. You can find them pretty easily online. That said, injectibles may produce better results..
