Glider dilemma (with poll)

We narrowed down the choices on a glider to 2. Now here's the catch that I seriously am torn between.

Both are from Target and both are $160.

Now, one of them (this one)

Wood Glider Link

is only available online and so obviously I can't sit in it and try it out. But this one matches my furniture more since we have all natural wood in the nursery and it seems to have higher arm rests.

The other one (this one)

White Gider Link

I sat in at the Farmingdale store and liked it very much. The cushions were nice and it felt sturdy but it is antique white only and wouldnt match the other furniture and the arm rests were on the low side.

I cant imagine buying something without seeing it in person... but then again I spent so much time picking out nursery furniture, I want everything perfect.

Which one would you choose?

I would get the first one, the one that matches the furniture. I'm sure it is just as comfy as the 2nd one- and I would want something that matches the furniture!

Re: Glider dilemma (with poll)

I'm taking a chance with my glider. I ordered it online from target. The reviews, the price and the look were all positive. I like the fact that it'g going to match my furniture.

I would go with the first glider, the one that matches your furniture set. I'm sure you'll be very happy with it.

I have the wood one and it is super comfy! You'll love it. ( you can come take it for a test drive if you'd like Chat Icon )I think with white, it it gets dirty you would see it sooner.

I like the first. I know about ordering online. I have had to do it. Sometimes you just have to take a chance.

I would go with the wood because it matches your furniture. If you don't like it, return it.

Thanks girls! And a special thank you Lisa for your offer and FM's.
I talked to DH and looked at the return policy (just in case) and we are going to order this one tonight! Chat Icon

Check out who the manufacturer is of the first one and see if anyone has it...are there any reviews????

I would definitely get the one that matches though. Perhaps the one that is in the store can be purchased else where in the natural wood????

Re: Glider dilemma (with poll)

Do they have the same features?

ETA- if they do, I voted for the wood color

Doesn't the Target website have reviews? That might help you.

Re: Glider dilemma (with poll)

I purchased my glider sight unseen from the Target website as well...I read all the reviews and picked one that coordinated with my furniture...I love it!

So, I'd probably pick the one that matched the rest of the furniture...of course, I'd check for reviews as well...
