Where do you get your decorating ideas from?

DH and I will be starting a MAJOR addition to our home next spring. We've been meeting with the architect and I'm trying to get some ideas. What has been your source of decorating ideas, be it a magazine, a website, a design team... etc.

Basically, it's the kitchen that's the big deal. It's going to be completely redone and I have NO clue where to start for counter tops, backsplashes, cabinets, etc.

I watch ALOT of HGTV.

I also get Country Home and Better Home and Gardens magazines. I look in Pottery Barn magazine lots too.

Magazines (Pottery barn, Ikea, or any add for furniture, etc..)

magazines, tv shows, i also get a lot of ideas from profiles on TheNest.com and from girls on here.

my hubby who is an architect and my mom who is an interior designer.....I lucked out in people to ask an opinion of stuff
A good place to look I would say is magazines. I get a lot of ideas from there
