UPDATE: Had my 37 week today...I am frozen at 4 cm!!!
And I am still 4 cm...I have been this way for the past 5 weeks. 
Not that I'm rushing for  to come since my parents and all my siblings are on vaca in Europe until Aug. 12, but I just cant stand the anticipation!! Every day I wake up thinking that this could be the day!!! And I cant sleep at night bc I'm so nervous!!
I'm not really looking for labor vibes since my fam is away, but I just cant understand how I just froze at 4 cm for this long...has this happened to anyone else???
UPDATE: I just got off the phone with my parents. My father insisted that if I do start feeling any pain that I should just stop thinking about it since it is all psychological. He proceeded to tell me that they will all be back in 9 days and I can hold out until then...
UMMM...this coming from a father of 5!!!!!!!!!!!! Is he kidding me????
I've come to the conclusion that it is my parents prayers that are keeping me from dilating any further and going into labor!!!

I am not 4 cm, but understand your frustration!!! I have had nights of 3 hours of sleep because of strong contractions that have gone NOWHERE. This is my second too..so much for going quicker.

I understand how you feel. At my 39 week appointment I was only a "fingertip" dilated. Now that I've been ordered to stop working the anticipation is driving me crazy! I could hardly sleep last night and now my brother and his family are here from Michigan so I feel like I need to get this baby out before they leave!

With the twins I went into preterm labor at 31 weeks and dialated to 3-4 centimeters before they stopped my labor..I didnt have them then until 35 weeks...

how are u doing this time around? has the dr said if you have dilated at all yet??

well, now that you're at term you can do all those things to bring on labor! start squatting, walking, and BDing

well, now that you're at term you can do all those things to bring on labor! start squatting, walking, and BDing
dr has told us no BDing since i was 32 weeks. first it was bc i was on bed rest, but now its bc the baby's head is literally only like 2 inches in  !!
but i have been swimming everyday so lets see if that does anything!
