Level 2 Suckeddddddddddddd Updated on last page
yes THANK GOD My baby is healthy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and perfect.................
But the baby's legs were crossed and had a foot in the mouth so the sex is undetermined..
The DR was also Sooooo rude.. had too many WAY unprofessional jokes....
Saying don't paint the room pink or blue.. Do it neutral.. Buy white...
I wanted to crack him...
I am so upset I can't stop crying!

Glad the baby is healthy!!
You can always go get one of those 3d ultrasounds. I think i heard they are pretty accurate at finding the sex, if the baby cooperates.

Do you know how I can ask for one?
I am going to call my GYN today and tell her how upset I am.. Maybe she will send me for other sono's to also check on the baby's kidney's as I have a gentic kidney disease, which only came present as an adult.. but who knows.. bc no one in the family has had it :(

Maybe. Doesn't hurt to ask your doc if they'll do another one.
I know my doc doesn't do the 3d's but she has coupons in her office for a $99 special for somewhere. See if your doc has those too.

I think you can ask for another sono to try and determine the sex. Mine has done it under these circumstances.

or if not , go for the 3d sono, they are AWESOME !!!! but you usually have to pay out of pocket

I called my dr.. I spoke to the head nurse.. She said this is not the first time they have had problems, with this dr or place...
They will arrange to find out the gender for me and I should calm down.. and my GYN will deal with this creepy DR..

Make sure it's still covered by your insuarance. Some insurance will only cover sonos if medically necessary. I had a problem with my level II because the tech went to look for the sex and said 'Yep, there's the scrotum.' Then she turned off the machine immediately. We saw nothing, We were stunned we were told that way. I wanted another sono and they said they wouldn't do it just so we could see the sex.
If you do go for another sono, drink juice before you go, so baby is bouncing around. I had juice AND chocolate.  He definately didn't want to keep his legs crossed with all that sugar!

Thank you everyone for being here for me.. I Was so upset.. and he made me feel bad for having the GYN I had.. Saying she was not on top of my kidney diease and such..
My face is a baby tomatoe as I have cried all night

That happened to me too on my level 2. I was so upset. I had to wait another 4 weeks to find out finally.
The techs just don't understand how we feel.

I'm sorry that happened. I had two Level 2s and they both sort of stunk too. Our little one had the cord between her legs.

That stinks that you couldn't find out. Hopefully you'll get another sono soon - otherwise like the girls said go get a 3D sono - I went to Impact Technology in East Meadow. They should be able to tell you.
DOn't worry - you will def. find out the sex before you have the baby!! At least he/she is healthy!!!

I also have a kidney problem that came forward as an adult and I was told if I have another child, they can do a test in utero to see if the baby has it too. That it is easily fixable should the baby have it too.

I'm sorry to hear you had such a bad experience Happy that the baby is perfect though!!
Sounds like your dr will have you do another sono to find out the sex, but if not go for the 3D ultrasound, we did it at Impact in East Meadow, out of pocket though

yayayay So I spoke to the other DR in my GYN pratice last night.. he is a personal friend of the creep who tested me on Wed.. He couldn't say sorry enough..
he will give me 2 sono's over the next 5 weeks to determine the sex and to also find out the baby's weight and length as that dudu DR never wrote it down in the report!
my kidney condition is ok.. I have to drink alot and stay very cool so my body doesn't work OT to cool off... he said he will just make sure I don't get any infections bc I can't take any antibotics to clean up the infection so I would need IV.
