what is Star?
When a listing says taxes with star...what does that mean? how do you qualify?

is it an exemption on your taxes. if your house already has the star exemption when it is up you have to change it to your name. If your house doesn't have it, you should apply for it by calling nassau county dept. of assessment. it will save you quite a bit of money.
