How to de-frost meat quickly?
THIS IS NOT A RECIPE THREAD!!!!!!!!!! 
I need to defrost 2 pounds of ribs before 1:30 - what's the easiest way to do it?

Do you have defrost on your microwave?
It can walk you through the steps on the microwave if you do

Put it in a bowl of cold water and let it sit there. It defrosts it quicker than just sitting out, but doesn't cook it like the microwave sometimes does.

I looked on my microwave.
It says to put it on defrost for about 13 minutes. Personally I wouldn't do it for that long, I would put it on defost for about 7-8 minutes and then check it

This is what I do, but I try to change the water every 45 minutes or so. Keeps it colder, but still defrosts.
