Spinoff to my Gift Question
What do you want?
If it didn't seem vain or selfish or whatever - and you could ask someone to buy you something - what would it be.
Tell me an UNREASONABLE gift - the over the moon gift that you want more than anything - but you know people won't get you because of the cost.
Then tell me the reasonable gift - the thing you think could be bought for you.
If I could have ANYTHING I would want my husband to buy me a wonderful 2 week vacation to an all inclusive resort with our kids. I would love to take a few of my friends and their families too. Or a brand new car.
As to reasonable - I would love for my husband to get me a day at the spa, and actually set aside a day for me to go. I would like him to say "Saturday I am taking you to XYZ spa. They will serve you lunch and give you a mani and pedi and do your hair and treat you like a princesse for the whole day while I watch the kids and make sure they eat and nap, etc.. That would be great.
From friends and family? I would like art or framed photography for the house.
What about you?

well my DH knows that I want a push present...I would like a diamond 1/2 eternity band.
For general wanting -- a vacation. DH and I have not gone away since our honeymoon which will be 2 years now. Our vacation for this year was cancelled b/c of my pregnancy. I was to ill to go.
From family/friends-go out to lunch and a mani/perdi with them...but that will have to hold off on b/c my baby is coming Friday and my b-day is in 2 weeks and after the c-section and taking care of a newborn it is just not going to happen.

I'd also like someone to pay the insurance on my ferrari. Insurance on exotic cars is EXPENSIVE... then again, if you can afford a ferrari...

or a brand new car... i've never had a brand new car
my more reasonable gift: to have someone pay for a personal trainer. i don't have the money right now, but they're not as expensive as i once thought

my crazy gift:
well, before i got engaged i used to daydream that one day FH would take me into a house blindfolded and have a whole romantic dinner waiting - at this dinner he would propose and then tell me that this house, was OURS. . . . and of course near both our parents 
my regular gift:
i would love for FH to take me to get a tattoo - he has this strange thing that he will only go get his with "the guys" and he won't even take me to get mine bc he thinks its not a "couple" thing to do

Unreasonable: endless amounts of private ballroom dance lessons. Like I'd want an hour lesson EVERY DAY; I'd want to compete. It's insanely expensive to dance as much as I'd like to dance.
Or a beach house. Not anything super new or fancy. Just one with a big old window looking out onto the water with creaky wooden floors, decorated in navy blue and white and wicker.
Reasonable: I can't think of a damn thing. Really.

Either a two week vacation to Europe or Hawaii OR even more crazy--- money towards a down payment for a house (or money to pay off debt)
Reasonable:
I want a new Coach bag. But just one that's around $200. (even though my dream bag is $800)
