rug help :-)

so, we just moved into our new house this passed weekend and i'm getting it all set up. we have hardwood floors, and i need to get two area rugs, but i'm not sure what to do about colors.
i need one for when you walk into the front door. the front door is blue, and so is the door to the garage that is right there. so i was thinking of getting a rug with blue in it for that area. BUT, when you look straight ahead is the dining table, and i have a burgandy and green runner on that, so i wanted to get a green area rug for under that. do you think this would look ok? or should i get the same rug for both areas since you see both rugs when you walk into the front door? in that case i would have to paint the doors..... lol i'm so confused! i just don't know if it would be too much to have two of the same rugs when you walk in, but at the same time i don't want it to look mismatched...
