our house in NC will be complete in 4 weeks, and we havent even recieved an offer on our place up here, and now with what its listed at, we are losing money

wow, I'm kinda surprised!! Your price definitely seems good - 2 bedrooms around here are going for $350+!

yes she is...i just looked it up on the REA mls to see if there were any mistakes that your realtor may have made thats turning off buyers or brokers and there's nothing that i found.

I know some condo complexes have "exclusives" with realtors which can make selling so much harder. I was wondering if that was the issue here. Our complex finally got rid of that rule a few years ago - thank god!!

I'd be listing it on Craig's List and the papers -- and having open houses as often as possible. We found ours through an open house.

The only thing I saw was, do you have carpet in your kitchen? I would probably rip that up and put in one of the new floating tile like floors or even nice vinyl tile.

That doesn't look like carpet to me. I think it's vinyl. I think the carpet effect is the glare from the flash... ?

Wow, I'm sorry you are having trouble. It took us forever to sell our co-op--it's definitely a bad market to sell in now.
Your price sounds good. Are you having frequent open houses? If not, I would ask the REA to start having more. Are they advertising the listing in papers, online, etc.? I noticed we got far fewer people when we had an accepted offer (but before the contract was signed), and all they were doing really was listing online. So these things do seem to make a difference.
Your place looks nice. The only thing that does look problematic to me is the carpeting in the kitchen. If the market was still good, people would deal with it, but since it's bad, it might help to pull it out. What's underneath now?

haha its actually ceramic tile in the kitchen...we gutted it and remodeled everything last summer, so we did high end upgrades to everything, thinking we would be here a while, but we are off to nc in a few weeks..
