Landscaper Fees

DH and I just had our landscaper pull out bushes, a few small tree stumps, and a lot of roots from the front of our house. We paid him $500. That did not include topsoil and seeding for grass. He wants another $350 for that. Do these prices sound normal??

yep, that sounds about right.

unfortunately, landscapers are REALLY $$$$. Mom has an enormous yard that unfortunately is almost all garden.... not much woods.

They will charge several hundred just to do a mundane fall clean-up

If you ask them to remove shrubs / trees, or do a major vine/brush clean-up, it is always $700+


this is why mom and I always try to tackle her yard ourselves.... thank God for DH, he's now a third set of hands
