Those of you who suffer from heartburn
If you take Tums to ease to discomfort, do you ever worry that you are taking too many in a day? Does it matter how many we take or can we harm the baby by taking too many? TIA

I don't really take more than 3 or 4 max a day - but usually just 2.

i ALWAYS take one before i go to bed and if need be 1 during the day i try to hold out as much as i can.. the tums at night seems to help i do occasionally need to take another in the middle of the night

I took a ton of tums, and was taking Zantac
too. Also Bicitra a liquid antacid that they give while you are in labor while I was at work. Baby is just fine.

i also was taking tons od tums so i went on zantac 75 twice a day

My heartburn is soo bad that I just complained to my Dr today. She told me to take zantac 150 2x a day.
I was taking alot of tums- and it just wasnt helping!

I take a ton of tums day and night. it's gotten very bad for me so I'll be asking Dr for something stronger at my appt on Wed, I just can't take it anymore.
