when was your first sono?

I have one tonight- but I feel like it's a bit early- I had called to reschedule, and it bumped my appointment up by 5 days-

Will it even make a difference?

What can I expect to see?
I'm so excited and nervous!
I am about 5 weeks and 5 days.

I think about 9-10 weeks. My first appointment at about 6 weeks was just them taking information and blood and urine samples, weight and medical history.

Mine was at around 5 1/2 weeks, but only bc I was bleeding, and we weren't able to see the heartbeat - just the pregnancy sac. We went again a few days later and we saw the heartbeat. You may or may not be able to see the heartbeat. good luck!

I had one at 5w5d because I was bleeding. We were able to see the heartbeat. It was really cool and a big relief.

I scheduled mine for about 7 wks.

I was around 9 weeks...but I think it was only because after the doctor did an exam on me I was bleeding and she didn't want me to worry. The one after that was around 12 weeks.

I had one at 5w6d and we saw the heartbeat!

I had an internal sonogram at 7weeks

Our first sono was at 8 weeks.

Since we had IF issues, ours was at 5w6d, but I went to my OB for the first time at 10 weeks and finally saw the baby instead of the grain of rice I saw the first time. Both times we were able to hear the heartbeat.

I had my first sono at about 6 1/2 weeks to see if they could see the heartbeat and determine an estimated due date.

At 5w6d we had a sono and saw the h/b.

So the sono tech said it was too early to see anything- so I am going back on 8/8 for another sono, hopefully we will see a heartbeat by then!
She also said that due to my long cycles, I am less far along than we thought- probably just about 5 weeks.

It was pretty cool to see the sac though.

My first was at 8 weeks. The baby was measuring a little small so I had another at 10 weeks.

I had an internal sonogram at my second doctor's appointment. I think I was about 8 weeks. The baby basically looked like a little blob, but it was nice to see that the baby's heart was beating and actually growing inside of me. It made it all seem more real.

8 weeks, to confirm a viable pregnancy. my OB woudn't see me before then.
