It just looks like they're at a concert & they're protecting his ears (these celebs & musicians NEED to go to all these gigs w/ their little ones- I've seen Apple Martin wearing them too)...
He does look a tad young to be wearing them, but it's better than nothing I guess.

I agree - the nanny (?) looks thrilled and he shouldn't be forced.
I also don't think he's old enough to be forward facing in a Bjorn yet...but whatever.
I'm sure I wouldn't pass all the tests of public scruntiny if there were pics of my every move with DS.
