First Sonogram
OK- so I just had my first appointment, and they confirmed that I am pregnant!
I need to get some bloodwork done, and they scheduled a sonogram for about a week from now.
Thge sad part is, this is our first child, and DH won't be able to make it to the sonogram.
I am in tears over this- but he works Mon-Sat, and they had absolutely no evening appointments available.
 I feel so sad over this.
I am 10000% sure he'll be able to go to the second sono, bc we'll have more time to schedule, but I a so bummed about this!
Did anyone else go to their first sono alone?

I went to the first few sonos alone. But I was going to an RE. Really it's the sonos later on you will want him there. DH got so excited when it really looked like a baby in there, there is not a lot to see at earlier sonos. But it IS exciting to see that heart beating away that first time.....amazing.

Thanks.
We are waiting to tell the parents until after the first sono.
I would rather go alone than share it with someone other than DH.
I am so sad over it, I'm sure my hormones have nothing to do with it.
