If I felt that they had a legitimate reason for not going, I'd still go to theirs...If I felt it was BS, no, I wouldn't...

sidenote to explain...a friend just had her bridal shower and one of her guests never rsvp'd. so a few days before her shower, her FH called this girl to find out if she was coming or not and she said yes. but the morning of the shower she text messages my friends FH and says "oh i dont feel well i dont think i'll make it". sounded like BS to us...so now she's not going to this girls shower...she's suddenly not going to feel well either.
