engineer reports
does anyone know a trustworthy engineer to inspect a home? dh and i have done it before with the house we have now..and the inspector did NOTHING..any info would be appreciated!

I used the guys no real estate agent will ever use b/c they are too good and too thorough... I wouldn't use anyone else. Amazing. They only use licensed engineers (PE) and licensed architechts -- not just home inspectors. Our cost included certified termite inspection - necessary for mortgage.
Our engineer was Charles Butt. He was on time, professional, patient, THOROUGH, and answered all of our questions. He was awesome. I can't say enough good things about him. The company employs many engineers / architechts, and I've heard they are all excellent.

I loved our engineer...he came highly recommended by a few people from work. He is very thorough and writes out a comprehensive report. He really checks every little thing. When you call you may have to wait a week or so for him because he is always the first one requested but he is so worth it. His name is Ron Pelligrino. The name of the company is Federated Consultant Service.
