SA questions
Sorry.. this may be such a dumb question...
They gave me a script for dh for an SA.. where does he go for this? DO I call a local lab and ask what the protocal is? His reg dr?

Do you see an RE or did you get it from your regular doctor? If its an RE, they may do it themselves - if they don't then I'd call them and ask who they use/recommend. I wouldn't think that his regular doctor would do it.

If you are seeing an RE they usually do it on premises. If your DH is seeing a urologist or regular dr. they usually send you to a lab.

I brought it right to my RE's office. I would call the doctor and ask them where you should bring it.

When my dh had his first SA my OB told me to go to North Shore. Then they sent the results to my OB. Since the results were abnormal my OB sent him to a male infertility/urologist and she ordered another SA, at North Shore again.

Im not seeing an RE so I guess I will just call a lab that is approved for my insurance.
