I don't know when I was supposed to start looking, but I just found a pediatrician this week... we will be 34 weeks on Saturday.
I think most girls start looking sooner than this.
As for daycare, I think I am in denial and refuse to think about it yet!

i have no idea...about a week ago i was panicking because we hadn't looked for a pediatrician and now you just reminded me that we still need to do this!!

Not sure about pediatrician but I actually just posted a thread on Parenting asking for Daycare rec's. IMO, for that, it's never too early (esp since there are waitlists at most of them).

I need daycare starting in Feb and I started looking a few weeks ago. 2 of them said they wouldnt have space. I would start looking ASAP!

I could have written this, with the exception that I am 35 weeks!
The pediatrician was easy for me, but I need to get my butt in gear about day care!!

I would start looking for daycare ASAP. Many have long wait lists.
