I just want to give props to...
all the preggos who work in the city! I went in yesterday just for lunch and I was exhausted when I got home. I give you ladies sooooo much credit!

It is hard even when nothing is wrong physically, though it's easier for me now than it was in the 1st trimester.
Need to talk to my doctor more about this commute in the months ahead. She feels if things continue as they are, I'm good to work until the day I deliver. Not sure she's thinking about a 3 hour daily commute and lots of standing!

Today with the rain it took me 2.5 hours to get in on the LIRR and then I almost got knocked over on the subway by someone running to an empty seat.... Luckily I get to work from home quite often, but I am kinda over commuting! 11 more weeks to go!!!

I'm sorry you had to go through that! I tried to get in, but my train line has been suspended all day, so I gave up and came home.
This is what I really dislike about commuting, all the people who think nothing of knocking someone else over to get a seat.

If I worked in the city, I don't think I could have continued b/c of the heart rhythm problem I have developed. Out here I am still working. I stopped making plans in the city and that hurts so bad.

I really don't know how you all do it!! 
I can't even begin to think what a miserable biotch I'd be commuting on a train 2+ hrs a day & walking x amount of blocks to the office!

When I stop working in 2 years I will miss it..
I take the express bus and its great!

I was getting off the 4 train yesterday and everyone was pushing to get onto the train at the same time. This woman that was pushing to get on perceived that I pushed her so she shoved me off of the train. 8 months pregnant - she shoved me! I wanted to throw down, LOLOL. But I thought better of it with my big belly. Freakin Animal

Oh god. I HATED the express bus! It made my nausea SO much worse. But I have no idea how I could have taken a subway though....
I had to stop working at 36 weeks because of my commute and NYC, I just couldn't take it. I give everyone credit too...especially in the heat!

thank you! i've been doing it forever i can't imagine not doing it but i agree the subway STINKS pregnant. I don't get offered a seat most of the time and people do push past you to get on the train first etc... i don't know how i'll do this 2 months from now though...
