what to get for a 90th birthday
Im going to my friends father's 90th birthday party. It is just a barbque in the back yard. She cant even think of what to get him. She suggested lotto tickets. Any other ideas?

Maybe a gc to his favorite restaurant. We went to an Aunt's last year and got her pajamas as they requested no gifts but we could not just go there empty handed. It was something she would be able to use.

You can get him scratch offs or a book if he reads.... you can suggest to your friend that writing to the president is something they can do, they will send him a letter.

How much do you want to spend?
You could get him $91 worth of lotto scratch offs (90 for age plus one for good luck)
Or, you could just find really interesting facts that he's lived through, like who was president when he was born, how much a loaf of bread cost, etc print it on nice fancy paper and have it framed...that could be cool.

Very famous company in NYC. He will know what they are. Supposedly they would drive a truck around brooklyn, the bronx, etc and like ice cream, you could get a satchel of them.

Really? I have never seen them in a grocery store, only online, at Brazzini downtown and at gourmet stores
