Could you try using an ice cube? Or is that more for gum & stuff like that?

My old standby for pretty much everything is the Magic Eraser, but I don't know if it would remove color from the rug. So, in short, I'm really no help.Chat Icon

This happened to me with a deep deep red color. I FREAKED!! I immediately threw water on it and went on line to see if there were any home remedies. Turns out there were, you can use, alcohol, windex, nail polish remover (check for the types) and just scrub the heck out of it. I used them ALL and it started to take the stain out.

We decided to purcahse the Spot Bot by Bissell which took it out completely.
