Should I be worried....
If I've been spotting for the last 2 days but I'm only in the 2nd week of my birth control pill. Sorry for the forward question but I'm getting a little worried. TIA

Re: Should I be worried....
Is this the first time your taking it? It's normal to spot if you just started bc or switched to a different brand.

I've been taking it for years but I switched to a different brand in November.

Re: Should I be worried....
I started spotting between periods years after I started bcp. I had switched brands a few months before that so I chalked it up to that for awhile but it turns out I had fibriods. So far they've been harmless.

Re: Should I be worried....
I had been on BC for about 5 or 6 years and started to spot pretty regularly. Me and my doc decided I would stop for a month or two.. I ended up staying off the pill for 6 or 7 months because we were plannng on TTC this summer... circumstances changed and I went back on. Just finished my third month and I still was spotting a lot-- I called my doc late in my frst month back on-- they said it was normal. Personally, everrything can be fine, but I hate the spotting... I decided to stop with the pill to prep for TTC this winter.
So-- spotting is normal, especially in the first month.

Re: Should I be worried....
I am on month 5 and am still spotting on about day 10 of my pills. Some months I would spot on and off right up until my period (and I would say it was more than spotting) and finally last month it was only for about 3 days. I actually have a Dr. appointment on Wed. because I can't take it anymore - I feel like I have one good week a month.
What pill are you on?

Re: Should I be worried....
If this pill has a different level of estrogen that would explain it.
