prenatal massage
DH got me a massage for my bday. Do I have to get a prenatal massage or are they only for women later in pregnancy that can't lie on their back or stomach? I will only be 9 weeks when I go do.

I think you are supposed to wait until after the first trimester to get a massage.
Ask you Dr. If you do go...make sure you tell them you are preggo.

As a licenced massage therapist, I will tell you that massages are NOT recommended in your 1st trimester. Some places will ask for a note from your doctor regardless of which trimester you are in.
Prenatal massage means massage for pregnant women. It's not specific to a particular trimester.

Any place that I went to would not give you a massage until after you were 12 weeks pregnant. Sorry.
After that, I had hot stone prenatal massages and loved them. Try to find a place where they have a pregnant massage table so you can stick your belly through the table. They are much better than having to lay on your side.

Oh No! DH bought it for me before I was PG and it is for when we go on vacation so I can't use it another time! Are there other spa treatments I can get?
