sorry i had to vent.

i had a psychological interview today and that psychologist described me as that and said I wasn't really fit for that career.

I never even saw myself as dominent.

And why is being independent and bright a bad thing in any career???

None of those things are bad and if your psychological interview was for what I am assuming it was - I would hope that those are traits that they would want in their employeesChat Icon

well its definitely not for a teaching position Chat Icon

i guess i will wait to see in 2 weeks if I passed or failed...i thought it was interesteding I would never think I was dominent. The other two traits I knew, but not that.

Is this for your city teaching job? The cynic and 10 year city teacher in me thinks that they're worried you might become a troublemaker. Chat Icon I sometimes think they want us to be robots who bow down and do what's asked, regardless of our professional knowledge and understanding of our kids.

IMO, if you're walking into a classroom, regardless of where, you need to be the dominant one or there will be chaos.
