When you grew out of your bra......
....did you buy a maternity bra or still buy your normal bra in a bigger size???
I'm 21 weeks and busting out of my "big" bras.

I got Maternity/Nursing bras...the lady at Destination Maternity pretty much said - why buy them twice and they're only going to get bigger!!!

Okay, I don't know much about maternity bras, but couldn't you outgrow these also? Or are they stretchier or something?
I was wondering about this myself--I think I'm going to need a larger size soon.

Well I was a 34B,
I bought 2 new 34C (regular bras) like when I was around 12 weeks I think (I was bustin out!)
and then I bought another regular bra, a 36C like a few weeks later.
I wear all 3 now, and they've gotten me to 29 weeks.
I just went to Target to look at the nursing bras and thats probably what I'll get and where I'll get them if I need more.

I went from 34 C's to 36 D's, but still hook it on the smallest size, so I can grow into them if I need to.
I did that around 12-13 weeks, they are still fitting well.
I got them for 12 bucks each at Kohls, and they are Maidenform and so comfy!

Regular bras - I bought one cup and bra strap size bigger and they have lasted me so far. First pregnancy - I didn't outgrow my bras until like the lats month. THis time I outgrew them before the 1st trimester ended.
The woman at the destination maternity told me there is really nothing different from a maternity bra and buying a bra in a bigger size (not talking about nursing bras - just maternity bras). So I just buy my bought my regular comfy maidenform bras at kohls when they were on sale.

I bought bigger bras. I waited until I was about 38 weeks to buy nursing bras since I didn't know how big I would be by then, plus, IMO, the nursing bra don't offer as much support as regular bras.

I had to buy bigger bras when I was like 10 weeks pregnant. I didnt buy nursing ones because I dont think nursing ones have underwire and I wanted to keep them looking nice for the next 7 1/2 months. Ill buy the nursing ones when I get closer to giving birth.

I've always just bought bigger bras as if I'd gained a ton of weight. Considering the price difference, there is no real reason to pay for it to be "maternity" in my opinion. I just made sure to buy one big enough to allow for some growth so that I had some time before needing to buy more.

I don't like maternity bras nor sports bras (had big boobs to begin with)...my bra has to be pretty, padded and underwire...so when the girls started growing, I went out and got a few bigger bras which I love.

I think I'll just buy a normal bra in a bigger size for now and buy nursing when I get closer to having the baby.
