I hate my job, so I waited until my bosses were having a really bad day. That was my plan from the beginning.

Re: For those who work....
I told my job at 13 weeks. My boss knew already(because I had fertility issues, and needed lots of time off), and it was killing her to keep it in, so I had to tell, LOL

Re: For those who work....
I'm trying to hold out for as long as I can. I am 11.5 weeks, but according to DH and the people that know I am pg, I don't look pg yet, so I am hoping to hold out until I am without a doubt showing.

Re: For those who work....
I told my boss when I was 8 weeks. I was so tired I was falling asleep at my desk. I had also taken a few days off to go to my early Dr. appts. so I wanted to let him know why. We have a great relationship and I knew he'd keep it quiet until I was ready to tell everyone else after 12 weeks.
ETA - I forgot to say how. I told him I needed to speak with him away from the sales floor. He thought I was resigning so he was very happy to hear the news.

Re: For those who work....
I told my boss very early - at 6 1/2 weeks, but only bc I was bleeding and have to leave early several times. Otherwise I would have waited a little longer, but told early still bc I am a teacher and didn't want to come back in September almost 20 weeks pregnant.

Re: For those who work....
I told one boss at 6 weeks (I almost passed out in her office so I felt the need to explain).
I told another boss at 9 weeks (because he was working me like a DOG. Didn't leave the office before 9-10:00 for a week and I couldn't take it anymore so I told him "I don't have the energy I used to because I'm pregnant!")
And I told another boss today (I'm 12 weeks). I have one more boss to go - I think I'll tell him later this week. And also my manager but my manager is on a different floor so she probably won't find out until I start to show. Too many people!!

Re: For those who work....
I told my boss around 10 weeks. We kept having these conversations about children and pregnancy and I really thought she suspected so I told her. She laughed, she knew nothing, but it felt good to tell someone and have someone to bounce things off of for a few weeks. I told the rest of work after 12 weeks. I wasnt showing until about 14 weeks, but it was hard enough waiting that long!

Re: For those who work....
I told my immediate supervisor at 10 weeks and swore her to secrecy, which I'm happy to say she honored.
I told the executive director either later that week or the following week - I don't remember - but I only told him then b/c I wanted to shock the heck out of him. This is actual a funny story. I work in a union shop and I'm union president. There is another girl here who is PG (with twins I might add). She is still on probation and could theoretically be fired. So I went with her as her "union rep" when she went to tell the exec director. When we went into his office he wanted to know why I was there - and I told him as her rep. He was very nervous wondering why the union needed to be there. So, she told him she was having twins and went through some other personal stuff etc. He looks at me and is still trying to figure out why this is such a big deal. After lots of dramatic pauses and some BS on my part about making sure her job was secure I told him - she is having two in November and I'm having one in December. He nearly fell off his chair! It was a total riot!!!!!

Re: For those who work....
I started telling most people around 14 weeks. I told my boss earlier--mainly because we do some lifting as part of our job, and I wanted to let her know why I couldn't do so much of that. It was easier than coming up with excuses.
Next I told the head of our department and my closest coworkers. Others I am still telling.
