Girls who are sensitive to earrings...
How do you clean your ears? I find that alcohol is too harsh and drying.

I use alcohol once in a while.
but I can't wear earings other than 14K white gold or gold. Everything else bothers my ears after a couple of hours.

I can only wear surgical steel, so I hardly ever wear earrings.
On the rare occasions that I wear gold or silver( and choose to pay the price), I clean my ears with witch hazel.

Try neosporin.
Dip the post of your earing in neosporin before wearing them. It has helped me before.

And I'm the opposite. I can't wear gold post earrings. Surgical steel or any other metal is fine... but gold makes my ears itch and burn!

How long do you keep your earrings in before changing them?
I tend to go a few weeks. Is that bad?
