is it me......
or is it ridiculous that target already has most summer stuff put away and back to school stuff out. Come on...4th of july was less than a week ago. Can't we enjoy the summer?

yep, i think its nuts that there are putting out fall clothes now. at least wait until august, no need to put jeans and stuff out now.

michaels the craft store had all the halloween decor stuff out last week.
I was ****** when I saw it. Damn stores rush our season's away. My nieces were here from florida & they couldn't understand why there were hardly any summer clothes left in the stores. I was trying to explain to them that our summer stuff is out in feb/march when its frickin freezing out & I have no desire to shop for shorts.

It some ways it benefits us because we got a great deal on a patio set at Lowes because it was on clearance and then an additional percentage off.
But as for the back to school stuff at BBB and Staples. I think that is nuts. We just ended school 2 weeks ago.

The worst I have ever seen was when Frank's Nursery was in business and I went there right after the fourth of July. They already had some of their Christmas decorations out. Talk about rushing the seasons!

It is annoying, but I kind of understand Bed, Bath and Beyond a little bit because of college freshman. When I went to college 9 years ago, we had to be there by August 10th, so I did do all of my back to school shopping in July.

I just can't...
when I got married 2 years ago, I had a fall theme. I remember all the fall stuff being out in July. back then I was happy about it b/c I was waiting for it to come out and wanted to get my hands on the best selection of stuff. but give me a break with all the Fall and winter clothing!  does anyone honestly buy a coat or a sweater when its 90 degrees out??

just wanted to add that in a way, it's good that stores put out merchandise 1 season ahead. In my exprience I have found that when I am actually ready to buy clothes for the next season, they're on huge sales b/c they've been out for months. I don't know many people who shop for sweaters in July or summer clothes in February
