What are your thoughts.......
......on platforms and pregnancy???
I have been wearing flat shoes since I've been pregnant. But I found these platform shoes that are so cute. They are 5 inches though (1.5 inch platform).
Should I wait until next year???
Are you ladies wearing heels and platforms??

I'm still wearing my heels! I don't think I'll give them up until I go into labor - I just don't like myself in flats.

I twisted my ankles many times while PG. So I sticked to lower heels.
Also my feet swelled up a lot. They are almost back to normal but it is possible that they don't go back to what the size they used to be and I will not be able to wear my shoes again. So don't buy shoes for next year unless you can wear them now.

Me either! I am such a clutz!!! But if you normally used to wear shoes that high, I think it's ok.

If you are comfy - can't see why you wouldn't wear them. I wore heels to work - granted not 5 in heels but 2-3 in my entire 37 weeks of my 1st pregnancy. This pregnancy - I only wear heels when the occasion arises since I am mostly a SAHM - I live in flip flops.

I wear heels almost exclusively to work and I am 33W4D. My feet hurt in flats so it's just more comfortable to wear heels.

I am 29 weeks and wear platforms, wedges, espadrilles .. they are MORE comfortable than flip flops / flats for me.

I have a pair of wedges that I love to wear... I am only 5' so i like to give my self some height conisdering DH is 6'4", but I keep getting yelled at by everyone !!!!!! I normally dont care what people have to say.... but it has been soooo annoying..... I cant wait to go back to my heels

I feel way too clumsy and off balance to wear anything like that!
Of course next year when you have a baby it would be even worse to wear heels like that!

I can still wear them at 29 weeks! I've toned it down though, I try to wear my lower heals because the last thing I need to do is trip & fall!! Then again, the other day I tripped over my flip flops so maybe it doesn't really matter!?!
