Spinoff to Dishwasher
If you have one, how long does a whole cycle take? Mine is taking from an hour and a half to 2 hours and I don't know if this is too long. I can not find my manual and my old one only took 45 minutes.

a quick cycle is 50 minutes and the normal cycle is over an hour long....only way i know is b/c my dishwasher has a timer

I use normal cycle because I don't know what else to use.

On mine, for a normal wash its 2 hours. For a Light Wash its 76 minutes. It says it on the DW, so that's the only reason I know.

I was wondering the same thing recently. I was reading this month's Consumer Reports, and they had a review on dishwashers. They reviewed about 20 of them, and every single one of them, for the normal cycle, was between 115 minutes (1:55) and 145 minutes (2:25), so you are right on track for a typical cycle. Some machines have shorter cycles for light loads, but the normal wash is 2 hours....

Thanks for asking this, mine is taking about the same amount of time and the one I had before in my old apartment didn't take half as long! I just realized on Saturday, DH left early to play golf and when I went to the kitchen over an hour later, it was still on!
