Re: Would you have intervened?

do i agree with the daughter calling her mom a ******? absolutely not.

but would i have called the police...yes. only because i wouldnt want it to go any further. who's to say it didnt get more heated and the daughter fights back?

i have a similar problem right now. there's a new family across the street from our house and EVERY SINGLE NIGHT the father is yelling at the mom and calling her names and i can hear her crying. DH says to leave it alone. i'm just waiting for a sound that sounds like he's beating her or things are being thrown and then i'm calling 911. they have young children in the house.

Re: Would you have intervened?

A daughter called her mother a B-CH and got hit for that? NO WAY would I call the police!

First of all, it would be none of my damn business and second of all that's what the daughter SHOULD get for calling her mother a B-CH !

Ok I just re-read, I read it too fast before....in that case, I would call the police as an anonymous caller..Chat Icon

I would have done the same.

Re: Would you have intervened?

I would have called anonymously. If I suspected someone being hit, I'd have to call.
