Driving question

Does anyone here have a license but HATE to drive? Or really nervous driving? I had a permit for FOURTEEN years, and finally got my license last month. But I honestly don't often NEED to drive, and feel like I'm making my nerves worse by not doing it. Am I the only one? What have you done to get over the nervousness?

Re: Driving question

THe more you drive and get practice in the more comfortable you will be. After time it becomes second nature, you don't even think about it.

I agree, with time, it will become easier for you.

Question, do you live in the city? If so, I could see why driving would make you nervous. It's certainly a bit easier out on the Island.

You totally sound like my cousin. The day I turned 16, I was out getting my permit. As SOON as I finished driver's ed., I went for my license. I would be LOST without being able to go where I please.

I have had my license for eight years and I still can't drive on highways - i just get too nervous.

I drive locally every day though.
