10 week appt

Had my 10 week appt today. We were supposed to hear the h/b today, and I got a little nervous b/c he couldn't pick it up on the doppler (although the doc was saying he thinks it's b/c of my tilted uterus).

Anyway, he did a quick sonogram just to make sure there is a h/b...and it was there, nice and strong. And it looks like a little baby now too, and it was jumping all over the place!! It was so great to see!! And the doc said the heartrate looks great. He said we'll def be able to hear the h/b at my next appt in 4 weeks b/c my uterus should be straightened out by then.

I am actually sort of glad we had to go the sonogram route bc I got to see the baby again...its such a big jump from the 7 week sonogram!!

good news! isn't it amazing?! Wait until you see a 3D sono of your own baby...it really makes you realize the little miracle your carrying!!

That is great. I am glad you were able to see your little bundle of joy and hear the heartbeat.

at 14 weeks they had a a hard time hearing it, i have a little belly fat though so im sure that it blocks it a little...they found it eventually

It is amazing what a big difference you see between the first sonogram and the one at 11-13 wks. I couldn't believe that our baby actually looked like a baby!
