Are there any web sites where i can get ideas and names of specific tress,shrubs and flowers?

I've started to order catalogs from nurseries to get ideas. So far I've only ordered White Flower Farm based on my cousin's recommendation. She took some landscape design classes.
I also looked at some gardening books at my library.
