I'm joining you...
Hi everyone!
I have been lurking over here for a month or two and finally decided to join in. We have been TTC since Sept. 06 and are starting to get concerned about why it's not happening. I have a doctors appt. this week and hopefully will begin the process (although I am a little nervous they won't do anything since it hasn't been a full year). This past month has been the hardest since we finally admitted there might be a problem. I never imagined how emotionally draining this process would be and I know you all share the same feelings. I'm looking foward to getting to know everyone!!

Hi....I am on the same boat regarding feelings...I have 15 months trying and finally decided to see a RE...have an appointment next week. I'm scared but know that I am taking steps forward to having a family

Just my regular OB. I guess he will refer me to a RE?? I really don't know how that works

Yeah, as much as I don't want to do anything and pretend it's all OK, I just want to get the process going as I know it can take a long time. Good luck at your RE appointment!!

Good Luck. I hope your stay here is short. It's good that you are getting checked now. Some tests like blood tests and semen analysis are real simple and can reveal what's going on which IMO is better than waiting a full year to fine out.

We started TTC at the very end of Sept./beginning of Oct. '06 too. I think that after trying this month I will make an appt. with my OB-GYN to figure out what to do next. Not sure how it goes from here, but still staying optimistic for this month! Good luck to you!

Welcome
I just joined too after tying for a little over a year. I started going through the testing with my regular obgyn about a month ago and just had my first RE appointment last week. As hard as it is to realize that there might be a problem, it feels good taking the first steps to figure out what is going on and coming up with a plan to treat it.
