What do jr admins do at your job?
I am curious b/c I have an interview with a really well known company just not in my field specifically..the interview is for a jr admin... i assume its a lot of grunt work, filing, typiing, coffee making lol.... but its my foot in the door so im more then willing to try it out.. do jr admins get treated like cr*p???

We don't really have jr admins at our job, just diff levels of admins.
Do you think that is the same, so this would be Admin I?
If that is so, they don't get treated badly here, just don't get any of the senior guys. Mainly associates. But here you move up rather quickly.

We have Jr. Adm Assistants. They are basically completely new to the field (which is finance) and do a lot of routine stuff - like file, copy, type up letters, etc. The senior AA's usually are fully licensed and have a lot more experience in the field.

At my company (insurance) it's just the level of your boss. The work is pretty much the same but the exec asst only have one executive while those "lower" may have several to support

same with me. The higher up you are, the less people you support.

I guess it depends on your company, but I have zero issues at my job. I think it is a great field to get into, and definitely a lot of room to grow.
